So anyway, my inner debate is whether it belongs on the record or not. Right now I’m leaning yes but while I was writing the music I was thinking no, this song is ridiculous, it’s not an Aranmaybe song, blah blah blah. Maybe it isn’t, or maybe it was. I had a jazz song about getting drunk (cont)

My main inspiration for this song was Ella Fitzgerald and Khia. You know, the my neck my back girl. And maybe cardi B. I dunno. It’s absolutely not my Normal style of music (aside from Ella) but the melody has been stuck in my head for a week now and it felt good to finally get it out of there(cont)

“Muschikörbchen”. The dialog is in German. The book is weird. But I do translate it for you in the book and here as well. It means “little pussy basket”. Meaning she has multiple rings in her labia and laces them together, like a basket. So I wrote a song about the pussy basket.

And maybe some country and goth because I can’t get away from that.

So I went back to working on my new record. I had started on a few tracks at the beginning of the year but didn’t have much of a direction. But after I finished Mirrorborn I thought it would be fun to make a companion record. So that’s sorta what it’ll be, although not strictly. (Cont)
