A marginally better game then the original and an easier one too, strangely enough.

I finished the Discworld videogame and it wasn't good.

Moon logic puzzles, softlocks, technical issues like lockups and save file limits.

The voice acting and the writing is great and superior to many games today but that's not the gameplay and that's important to me.

Half of these are usless.

I love how all these hollywood problems are always self-inflicted.

People not going to theaters, not liking how they look, not liking modern plots, not liking the constant reboot and remake.

And the movies that do break the mold are original and interesting and big studios still frown, lmao.

To continue discussion of how people don't realize that japan made their favorite "american" videogames...

A lot of your favorite cartoons from the 80s and 90s are actually anime.

Especially from TMS Entertainment since they did Ducktales, Gargoyles, Batman The Animates Series and many more.

Too many videogames are becoming a parody of themselves.

You can't be seriously sell me a tale on the dangers of technology while using Generative AI.

Duke Nukem 3D is a bit of a weird title, a bit of self-awareness and a bit self-seriousness, helps that the creativity in the levels is off the charts start to finish.

The simple fact that Capcom was ready to make Disney 3D games on PS1 and N64 and got dropped right as soon as those consoles hit market reeks.

The more i'm looking into this the more possibility of racism, envy and jealousy against the japanese from western publishers rises.

Ew.

Corporations are certainly starting a suffering from success era.

They lament that they can't hold people at their job while firing them because they want to replace them with machines and what they think is AI.

And they think that "3 months to train an AI that will replace you" is appealing...

I see that conversation online is going the way i expected about recent TGA snubs.

Sony, Sucker Punch and Stellar Blade have all come up again recently.

Places like @resetera-forum.bsky.social are asking themselves why people didn't buy Ghost of Yotei and i have the answers.

I will never shame anybody for crying for feeling empathy.

We need more of both, especially together.

I really don't like the design of DOS style platformers.

This means usually gigantic square blocks of space filled with stuff, traps and enemies on a time limit.

You figure out where to go or fuck off, and they brought this on Claymates for SNES, but not only that, ugh.

I'm willing to go back to some games or even a console i considered a closed chapter.

I'll be doing some research about both things, considering the hard games i'm completing lately and how much better at them i am compared to 3 years ago i'm willing to give a few things a try again.

Even if it doesn't seem like it, you've always got a way out.

You can stop playing Battletoads any time, believe in yourself!

We need more Rebecca Heinemans and less Randy Pitchfords.

Playing lots of fighting games made me realize that Street Fighter II was not popular because of any particular reason other than there was no other good one for a while.

Mortal Kombat was interesting because of wow factor but mechanically it was shallow and it stayed relevant thanks to gimmicks.

I just got explained to me what americans mean when they say dingleberries.

I could've spent the last 5 minutes better than this.

In all honesty the best way to not lose it is to not have any in the first place.

Well, The Umbrella Academy was a surprise.

A story about people with superpowers but not really superheroes.

Just flawed people.

A bit like Misfits but without the changing cast after two seasons and the disappointing continuation.

Much better than that.

You know, in hindsight, we should've known that Buster Asshole was a bad person.
November 12, 2025 at 6:30 AM
Now this is ridiculous: Asterix Search for Dogmatix for Game Boy Color starts you with one continue and to gain more you have to do a billion minigames, plus it saves your progress only when completing a full world.

Basically destroy the pick up and play nature of the Game Boy, what a mistake.

In this era of beat'em up revivals, somehow Golden Axe hasn't gotten one.

They're all in urban settings and one made in something different and more unique would be much more fresh at the moment.
November 10, 2025 at 6:46 AM
Honestly i ask about sequels to old series all the time but i understand that they're not making them because they wouldn't sell.

I just don't expect it to happen all my life, if then it happens i'm happy, that's all.
