I do wonder if she derails peace talks on purpose, accidentally, or what and how that happens?
then, I still wonder about throne/ nation & what this setting is :)

phrases that stood out to me [good]:
"outlawed magic attracts the High Council's attention"
"deadly conspiracy behind the miraculous Crimson Heart plant"

the stakes at the end leave me with questions: what peace built on what lies? what nation? the US?
