it’s kind of a relief to know that they didn’t really smoke all those cigarettes on mad men but then you read about how the herbal ones they used instead tasted like “pot and soap” (jon hamm), it feels like maybe original is almost better

I have been struggling to find motivation to read, but the book that made perhaps the biggest difference in making me want to sit and read is @jarrettmelendez.bsky.social ‘s CHEF’S KISS. it’s funny and charming and I love it!!

I will talk about it much more in the 2.5 months before it comes out, but THE PROSPECTS by KT Hoffman is an upcoming queer/trans romance novel (out April 9) and it is excellent—sexy while also sweet and filled with heart and trans joy and also baseball (if you're into that)
