I believe, and I heard it at the doors too, that people want solutions beyond incarceration. And turning down a million dollars and suing the county ain’t it! Happy to work with councilors and the community on a real way forward!

The president is clearly unwell. As an American, I find it hard to believe that our president speaks in this way.

I'm sorry Congresswoman. You can't simultaneously declare your objection to sweeps while also endorsing a mayor in your own city who has aggressively swept your constituents and slow-walked any meaningful expansion of services. 🤦🏽♀️

The city of Burien, WA is proposing an absolute ben on homeless people sleeping anywhere in the city, including in vehicles. The lengthy whereas section argues that homeless people just need a threat of jail to go into shelters (which do not exist in Burien and are limited and inadequate elsewhere.)

Rand Paul needs to stop treating autism as a disease. Human brains are different. Worth examining why, but autism isn’t something to cure. He thinks it is and that’s not a healthy way to look at this.
