Got around to doing some more painting. It's my first time free handing straight lines, and I'm pretty proud of it.

I ran out of filament when this print was almost done. Fortunately, my runout sensor triggered and paused it, and it nicely resumed where it left off. First time is done that without layer shifting really badly.

I was so excited to put these guys together when I got them i didn't think about painting them. I had to carefully rip all the armor off and managed to not break anything. Lesson learned for next time!

This month has been pretty rough. It's hard to get away from all the negativity while a lot of people (including myself) are still coming to terms with what's happening in the world. It's important in these times to have and show gratitude. I think I'm going to do that more. Especially on here.

Spent my evening painting for the first time in a while. I tried out the slap chop method for the first time, and I think it turned out pretty good. Is hard to tell it's an FDM print. I will probably get to the base tomorrow.

I'm pretty proud of this. I feel way more comfortable painting at my desk now. It also has spots for brushes at the top.
