The Mouth Of Winter starts today. Chapter 1 is up. It's a grimdark fantasy/horror novella about mercenaries, monks, and the ancient thing sleeping beneath a mountain monastery. One chapter every day through December 25th.

I want to talk about Stranger Things for a moment. Before I do, I have to admit that yes, I notoriously like things, and yes, when I am part of a fandom, I generally just accept all aspects of being a fan of that thing, and care not for the little issues or problems. I LIKE liking things.

This is seriously worrying - do read the whole thread
An issue we're seeing at all levels of university is that many students are simply refusing to do *anything*. They aren't reading the syllabus, aren't following assignment guidelines, aren't engaging with material, ignoring deadlines. And this might seem like old news, but it truly has ramped up.

An image forms in the machine.

Thank you, Jen Craft MP, for raising the Covid Inquiry report at PMQs.

Boris Johnson's negligence resulted in thousands of avoidable deaths.

That is why we are calling for his access to the £ 115k-a-year ex-PM allowance to end.
