Some people obviously get a thrill from taunting others with bipolar. Sick.

I seem to be coping with my bipolar at the moment, carrying on with work and seeing supportive friends.

WAC wrong-headedness
(that's the BBC Written Archives Centre)

I've brought together the key links for the campaign against the changes which now make independent and exploratory research at WAC impossible - and why this matters.

RIP Pauline Collins. Such a warm, twinkly actor yet her characters were always with authenticity, truth and a bit of steel...😢😢😢

Maybe for the best that I don't read the Terry Nation Tribute issue of DWM. After all, I've moved away from Doctor Who scholarship.

I see that DWM are releasing a special tribute issue on Terry Nation. While I'm sure it will be a spectacular study unpacking loads of new information (and I look forward to reading it), the only academic study of Nation's work remains Jonathan Bignell's and my 2004 book.

Now that I'm finished with Doctor Who scholarship I need to formulate a plan of projects to work on; as a bridge, I'm currently editing my Grandpa's memoir.

Noticed the connection between The Brain of Morbius and Mindwarp tonight: both feature a scientist (Solon/Crozier) attempting to transfer the brain (of Morbius/Kiv) into a (more suitable) head.

I think I'm gonna give Sapphire and Steel a rewatch. It's been a few years since I saw it.
