Surprisingly, it works very well.

Hydrogen fuel cells do not like the cold. Water is a byproduct & freezing will damage the components permanently. Efficient pre heating systems are required. Hydrogen transfer in cold climates is also a problem.
All of that can be managed of course, but why would you want to? Batteries win.

Batteries are circa 90% efficient.
Hydrogen fuel cells are 30-40% efficient. Which is generally why manufacturers have gone for batteries.
Btw, EV batteries have a warranty for 10 years. Expected life of 15-20 years. Then repurposed in the solar indusry for 10-15 years. Then recycled at 90% level.

False hope and vested interests will get a lot of people killed, as it has for centuries.

Like most EU countries, Germany is planning on increasing charging points to 1 million over the next 5 years.(Currently at 70,000).
Granted, it's a Government plan, so not guaranteed.

So one report saying the vaccine turned one person into the incredible hulk is false? Who knew.

Valencia in Spain has become bike friendly. Substantially increasing bike lanes post pandemic.
Going from 35 km of bike lanes in 2015 to 160km today.

Come back & comment when you have gained at least a modicum of knowledge regarding lithium batteries & solar panel recycling. Right now it's either sadly lacking, or you are deliberately trying to spread misinformation.

You clearly have no clue about Repurposing or recycling of lithium batteries.

Repurposed EV batteries.

Ha! A likely story. You be saying you saw a BMW doing the same thing next. Fantasy land!😁

So, one charging station today, at 15km. What about tomorrow? Or next week/month/year?
Do you honestly expect the current situation to remain unchanged?
The average range of new EV's is now 400km. So after fully charging (20 minutes), you use less than 4% to get home. Hardly a disaster.
November 29, 2025 at 8:58 PM
So many detractors of EV still think it takes hours to charge modern EV's.
November 29, 2025 at 6:33 PM
Spending 20-30 minutes a week at a charging point is not a major inconvenience.
The range of EV's has increased & charging time has decreased.
November 29, 2025 at 6:25 PM
Which is why electric charging points around roads are being installed.
Granted the price of electric is higher at those points compared with houshold rates.
That will come down in price, as is the case with differing prices at gas/petrol pumps. It is still generally cheaper per mile than gas/petrol

I was going to mute her, but decided on a block. I don't need or want someone being puerile or pedantic with their replies to my comments.
