Involuntary late night introspection is rough. I'm sorry, my friend.

That team is all vibes, and I love it.

I can't believe I forgot Meowscarada, I would have used her over Primarina. Both are good choices, though.

The movie raises way more questions than it answers, which you expect out of a bridge movie. 8/10, which is the lowest score I've given out of the three so far.

We have started the fourth movie, about an hour in so far, and I can already tell you I like it more.

Sometimes I think I've still not fully internalized my transition. For example, I had to remind myself today that I don't just support same-sex marriage for my friends and community anymore, I'm literally in a same-sex marriage.

Tune in for more obvious revelations from this trans girl.

A hole in the social calendar?! That must be filled ;)

I never worked in food service, but I spent 17 years in retail. Does that count?

In my eyes, if the trans community are my siblings, the intersex community are my cousins. We don't share everything in common, but they are still family and worth defending.

The intersex community deserves support and love, and they don't deserve to be forgotten, as they frequently are, in discussions that should rightfully include them.

Intersex teens and adults often face bigotry and prejudice if they are visibly outside the binary, and it can be very difficult for them to find proper medical care in a medical industry built around binary sexes.

No state, nor the federal government, outlaw these surgeries, despite volumes of provable harm over decades of research.

Intersex Day of Solidarity is a time to recognize the issues facing intersex people today. In America and around the world, intersex infants will go through unnecessary surgeries (that often lead to lifelong complications) to 'fix' their genitals and assign them a binary gender.

Intersex people are often lumped in with trans people. While intersex people can certainly be trans, they are their own distinct group that deserves respect as such. The two groups do share a lot in common when it comes to the bigotry directed at us (as most transphobes don't know the difference)

You without a doubt know an intersex person, whether you realize it or not (or whether THEY realize it or not, many people don't realize they are intersex until they have a relevant medical issue). For example, at least two people I personally know are intersex.
November 9, 2025 at 9:18 PM
Intersex people are about as common as trans people, around 1-2% of the population depending on which estimate you use.

What most people think of, if they have even heard the term, are people with both male and female presenting genitalia. But it is far broader than that, including atypical chromosome or hormonal conditions, and conditions that cause mismatched secondary sex characteristics.

Lets start with what intersex means. This is a complex subject, and I'm certainly not an expert, but I'm gonna do the best I can. Intersex people are those born with sex characteristics that don't fit into binary notions of sex.
