People on history are living far enough away in the dimension of time, which we can only travel in linearly, that it is very difficult to communicate. Impossible in many cases. We can't communicate to those in the past. Only some of them can communicate with us imoerfectly. They leave things behind with no idea if they will reach us or when. What we will be doing and thinking anything about us. But they send things into the void of time and so do we. In our attempts to communicate through a dimension we can only move in one direction and one speed. In perfectly parallel lines. That may or may not intersect. That are at different lengths from one another.
