Look what I received just in time for some Halloween spookytime reading! I'm very excited @davidniallwilson.com... I love what I have read so far. 🖤🖤
A book titled "Hickory Nuts and Bones and other uncomfortable tales" by David Niall Wilson. The cover is a highly detailed illustration of a skeleton curled up as if sleeping underground beneath the roots of a large tree. The roots appear to cradle the skeleton. An excerpt from Hickory Nuts and Bones. It includes a black and white illustration of what appears to be two individuals in hazmat suits and gas masks with insects flying around them. The text begins "The pendant Nicolas wore was a blood-fattened tick sealed in acrylic. It was his own blood, of course."

This little chaos gremlin refuses to sleep next to me. She will only sleep on top of me. And only if I'm positioned perfectly. By which I mean if I'm not, she will use her claws to try to turn me over. At 3 am. Resistance is futile.
