Our only water “from the PNW” is the Klamath River. Beginning in the high desert of southern OR, it flows west through the Cascades and Klamath Mountains before emptying into the ocean.

Not a drop of this OR water feeds the State Water Project or Southern CA — with or without a magic spigot.

A DMV local and UVA’s “finest”, apparently. Making Jefferson proud 😕

To reinforce the point, here is a still photo of Indy pummeling a man who “appears to be” a Nazi, with an armband bearing a symbol that “resembles” a swastika.

Wait a minute. What idiot president appointed that radical left Democrat Wray who weaponized DOJ against Trump?!

The etymology is amusing: “The cobbler should not judge beyond his shoe.”

Nearly 2,000 years ago, artists were already mad at critics who didn’t appreciate their works. And @radiofreetom.bsky.social was already lamenting the death of expertise. 😜

Elmo is *the* apex ultracrepidarian dipshit. All other tech bros aspiring to be oligarchs can only aspires to his heights of dipshittery.

(My favorite word of late. Well, OK, two of them.)

My first reaction was “Bad on them, this must violate the TOS— wait, no it doesn’t!”

Unlike pretty much every major social site (see Instagram example), the grant-of-license in Twitter’s TOS *doesn’t* terminate when you delete your content. Easy to miss when they don’t use words like “irrevocable”.

This cartoon is my favorite response to disabuse people of that techno-utopian dudebro fantasy. It addresses a specific issue (encryption) but can be generalized to the whole world of tech exceptionalism.

Seems like Google has that in place, mostly. “Child” and “Dog” are safe right now, but “cat” needs work. 🙁
