Good info presented by Illumina R&D folks at ASHG last week. Isoform detection in single cells pairing Illumina 3' Single Cell RNA library prep and MiSeq i100 600 cycle kits on 50M reads flow cells. NovaSeq X 600 cycle kits not far away either!

This had me seeing red today from @genomicscow.bsky.social. If I use my friend @genomics-guy.bsky.social as an example.. I'd say the optics of Gary on the publications, were always seen as favourable from both industry and academia.

If you ever get the chance to holiday in New Zealand, I 💯 recommend. So many unusual things to see and do. The thermal pools/lakes/mud/geyser are amazing.

Don’t shoot the messenger here… you’ve still got >4.5 years of supply and support on the EOL instruments. There is also the standard MiSeq i100 at $49,900.

Got to see under the skin of the MiSeq i100. Amazing technology lies within. Also checked out the Illumina Protein Prep setup while it was running.
