Oh look, it’s another social media platform.
okay it went for 15 minutes, stopped, and has been silent for more than 15, so I think it's done. Phew.

We went to one of the picks recently and it was terrible—food was tasteless and greasy and service was poor, so I’m a bit confused by that one; did we just get a really off night or what?

(When I’ve used Michelin recs in other places the food was excellent—sometimes a bit overpriced but tasty.)

We’ve done the broadcast order thing—it’s actually really fascinating to see how pieces of real history progress through “we talk about this as a sci-fi allegory” -> “we use it as a set dressing for a historical monster romp”.

I would maybe put both Beyoncé and Red Hot Chili Peppers up for this? Neither ever stopped for long, but had a lull before roaring back. (A few years ago I was like “who’s this band channeling RHCP” and it was just them again. They never hit megastar fame either time, but…)

And with enhancement turned down close to naked eye perception:

I perhaps see it even more often to primarily or only mean ADHD, which is also terrible. (Granted, I have ADHD and thus am in spaces talking about it more than the average non-ADHD person (whether or not they are ND.))

I had one (might still have, somewhere?) one that could be taken apart—two ends with angled slots and then flat pieces of wood that slid in them. Really nice, also easy to take to college with me etc.

Would be easy to replicate with a woodworking setup though I am not that crafty.

I actually love hot fudge sundaes with pistachio ice cream, and the nuts on top are usually walnuts?

The silver line kinda sucks in general because most of it is on regular streets, but the airport section is fine. It really is very reasonable for a transfer from South Station to Logan, and comparable to non-US transfers to get to airports from central stations.

I will believe it when I see it but yay!

Yeah I feel like most humans from the same societal background as the person could do better than 2/3 with no additional context, and much better with a few basic facts about the person.

If they got it wrong they would perhaps be more likely to get it exactly 180 degrees off than the AI, though.

Mine was delivered on a very cold day and had clearly been on the unheated truck for a while; the bubblewrap warmed up instantly but the ceramic held onto its icy chill as it emerged from the cocoon.

(Also this is useful information if I ever have to pack it for moving.)

And it’s all in on the “all visual media is brainrot” because somehow print makes everything better.

And I say this as someone who generally prefers reading to tv! But tv and video games (which the interactive drama thing honestly predicts pretty well) can be great storytelling too.

Straightforward, easy and fast depends on your handiness and what kind of pump you have (a roadside fix with a small portable pump can take a lot of pumping to fill back up).

Small town historical societies might be happy to help if you have towns you know to look at. (And amateur historians/genealogists are a helpful bunch—my mom does photos for find-a-grave for strangers and would totally photograph a bridge abutment if someone asked.)
