The next cell in the series is about a visit home, mending the connections I could, realising some things just can't be fixed & a wee dug that kept me company.

Finally managed to take some new photos of the pieces I'll be exhibiting at RSA's New Contemporaries 2025.

I've also decided to start sharing their 'secret' titles, as they all mean something to me. This one is: Metaphorical Cell No 10: The Etymology of a Falling Autumn.

480x400mm/18.90"x15.75"

Dropped off my work for the Royal Scottish Academy's New Contemporaries 2025 exhibition yesterday.

There's enough work to fill a 6m/19'8" wall in that tiny box.

Photos from our first full day in Phnom Penh... Today, I'm in bed with Tamiflu and effervescent Vitamin drinks. Tomorrow, Ned's funeral... I wish I were here under better circumstances. Khmer people are amazingly kind and generous, and this city has much I would like to explore.

The current state of our living room... Suffice it to say: my husband is a very patient partner.

Current state of the piece I'm exhibiting at the 126th SSA Exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy this week. It takes months to make +10 hrs (or so) to prep the template...Thankfully, the non-traditional install means I don't bring it to the RSA until Monday morning, though, so there's that... 🧡
