The Warriors are adding 6-foot-9 wing Malevy Leons on a two-way contract and waiving recent second round pick Alex Toohey, per source. It’s injury related. Toohey needs knee surgery and is out for the season. Leons is averaging 14.8 points and 7.6 rebounds for the OKC Blue.

Warriors blow the Bulls out in Chicago, finish the road trip 2-1. Overall record bumps back to 13-12. Now they'll get four days off and then Steph Curry's targeted return at home Friday night against the Timberwolves. Warriors only have two games in the next 10 days.

Pat Spencer scored 19 points and waved goodbye to the Cleveland crowd to give the Warriors their most improbable win of this 12-12 start.

They're expected to get a large chunk of their rotation back in Chicago tonight.

Steve Kerr said reports about Steph Curry’s progress from the thigh contusion have been positive. He said “it’s realistic” that Curry will return next Friday at home vs Timberwolves. Warriors have four days off after this road back-to-back.

Jimmy Butler, Draymond Green, Seth Curry and De’Anthony Melton are all out tonight in Cleveland. Steph Curry and Al Horford were already ruled out. Depleted vs Cavaliers on front side of back-to-back. I’d expect a few players back in the lineup tomorrow in Chicago.

Draymond Green was in a walking boot postgame. Said Dominick Barlow landed on his right foot and he hurt it similar to when Donovan Clingan landed on it last week. But Draymond said he hopes/expects to keep playing through it.

Warriors lose a strange heartbreaker in Philadelphia. They fell down 20 quick, didn't have Curry/Butler, lost Draymond before halftime, rallied back for brief fourth quarter control behind deep bench guys, but lost on an Edgecombe tip with 0.9 seconds left.

The Warriors entered the night with the 23rd-ranked offense in the NBA and just scored 10 first quarter points in Philadelphia. They went 4-of-25 shooting, 2-of-16 on 3s and turned it over four times. No Curry/Butler. They're down 20 already.

Steph Curry will not make the road trip, per Steve Kerr. So he will miss the Sixers, Cavaliers and Bulls games. Kerr said he's hopeful Curry will be back for the home game against Minnesota next Friday.

Chet Holmgren told me "there were days I'd crawl on the floor on a bunch of Ibuprofen" during the Thunder title run.

He's the current DPOY favorite after OKC's 20-1 start and feeling more himself.
