Every single person in Britain: "the chippy" or, if we're being fancy, "the chip shop"

The New York Times: "the french fry restaurant"

one of the coolest things about ChatGPT is how you can actually just never use it. you can fill your whole entire life with simply not once using it. it's incredible.

Happy Tuesday! We had an amazing sky this morning 15 minutes before the sun came up before everything quickly dissipated into gray. It was a tough choice in coffee shop voting but this one took it. Tap for full size. I hope you have a great day!

I don’t need an HDTV I need an ADHDTV that knows when I break eye contact to play on my phone and has a button that skips my show right back to that point

Massive shoutout out to whoever handles the Royal Canadian Air Force’s social media account. They responded to every single comment on their already very solid Trans Day of Remembrance post and they responded like this…

🚨 SCOOP: Toyota and Aston Martin secretly lobbied a Conservative cabinet minister to weaken Britain’s climate policy.

We only know this because Democracy for Sale won a two-year legal fight to force the government to hand over the documents.

I’ve been on here for a year today.

Hoping to be on a little bit more (but not too much) during the second year as I seem to have found a friendly bunch of people, some who I know from the other place and some who are new!
Happy Wednesday everyone 😊
Well hi Bluesky

That final point is absolutely crucial.
The fact that the BBC has made serious culpable errors does not negate the point that there is a real and concerted right-wing media campaign to destroy it. Both points can be true at the same time and the campaign would not end even if the errors did.

Lowe doesn't need the money but the 'thrill' of engagment can be just as corrupting as the love of cash & if engagement/cash increase according to the extremity of the opinions expressed then you need integrity to resist the temptation to become ever more offensive. This is what Musk has engineered.
Human trafficking.

Rupert Lowe makes more money from using Elon Musk’s website than any other MP.

There is money to be made from mass deportations and talking about mass deportations.
