every single one of these emails is someone I already hate messaging a notorious pedophile to say "Thanks for the great time! I had fun doing pedophile stuff with you. P.S. Trump was there with us the whole time"
just opening up the new Epstein docs at random:

I'm really glad to see free software like godot, blender and linux picking up so much steam (pun unintended but appreciated)

the free world is fun and full of cool places to explore. FOSS is less like a product and more like a community, a culture you share with others using the same programs

Valve is making a console. The Steam Machine, a sleek box with the guts of a mid-range PC that runs SteamOS, will arrive in early 2026. Prices TBD, but unlike the failed Steam Machine initiative from a decade ago, this is Valve's own device. Big news www.bloomberg.com/news/article...

"Not even in my wildest dreams did I imagine that one day I would paint a picture of hot Bowser for official material, announced by Miyamoto himself. 😭 I laughed so hard in disbelief while painting, you have no idea lol"

idk if this is legit but, if it is, it's the culmination of a plan valve started in 2012, 13 years ago, when they started focusing on linux. the steam deck is already a great success, and I admire them for being so patient and playing the long game. a shareholder-owned company would never do this
Steam Frame, Steam Controller, Steam Machine announcement is expected soon, here's a first look!

We're so thrilled to be able to announce that Cassette Beasts has sold over *1.1 MILLION units*!

We started out as a tiny team hoping we might be lucky enough to sell even a fraction of that - for every share, review, or positive comment, we really can't thank all of you enough. 💜

I've always been insecure about this. when you create art for a single project over years, your style will inevitably evolve. then I feel an urge to redo everything in the "new style", and when I finish redoing I find out I've evolved again. it's an endless loop that can cost years for solo devs
Super Mario World has an extremely eclectic art style whereby many enemies are drawn in completely different ways. Development files reveal Mario went through many stylistic changes; it is possible that all the enemies were made to fit Mario, but at different points in time.

Tried to run my game on my old old laptop.
It ran smoothly on small level, but horribly on the larger ones.
Started deleting objects one by one, performance was still sh*t.
Kept deleting until I was left with a single quad and a skybox - didn't help.
Skybox shader was at fault.

I’ve seen a few folks go for the “if you simply must watch that new Harry Potter show just pirate it” and sorry. No. Just no. Just don’t watch it. At all. Ever. Break free of it. It’s time. You’ll be ok. I promise. I know it mattered to you as a kid. Find new things, it’s healthier. Just move on.

We don’t use generative AI at Strange Scaffold and I can confirm that a *lot* of other studios are not—whether indie or AAA.

Get outta here with this normalization bullshit.
