It’s very interesting, it was built in the gatehouse in the 1620s. “The grotto features tableaux depicting the four deities of Fire, Air, Water, and Earth, constructed using volcanic rock, Jamaican coral, and ormer shells from Guernsey.”

It’s got a leather layer sandwiched between the top and bottom layer of wood, I’ve stained the top layer, but you can still see it running through the Centre.
