Lanark by Alasdair Gray—showed me what absolutely mad things you could do with structure. Has a glorious epilogue where he lists out all the works he 'plagiarized.'

The Melancholy of Resistance by Laszlo Krasznahorkai—I thought I hated books with run-on sentences. Turns out I just hate bad run-ons.
