Couldn't agree more with @samlmontano.bsky.social post on the other platform. Emergency response from big ( #Helene) to small (museums & libraries) works best when you have strong formal & informal networks.

Bad news: Schools still closed in W NC
Bad/Good news: not everyone has cell service but some do
Good news: People are helping each other (typically does happen but has to be repeated to fight the untrue notion that anarchy is the norm)
