i'm generally opposed to cameras/surveillance in public, but the article itself doesn't say that traffic/speeding cams were used in tracking down these people, just that speeding was used as a cover for pulling them over. BP was setting up their own cameras, not using existing speeding cams

allegedly what they're doing is paying voice actors to train an LLM on and use their voice in the future, similar to what fortnite did for James Earl Jones. it's supposed to help with updates in the future, since you wouldn't have to bring the VAs back to record more voice lines, just use the LLM
