Decided to experiment with microtonality, specifically polymicrotonality. The song is mostly in the standard 12 TET, but there are elements in 5 TET, as well as hexatonic subsets of 31 and 19 TET. Excuse the laggy video, I have a really bad computer.

Catcher's Cola syrup (ingredients) 3 cups granulated sugar 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup water 1 cup pomegranate juice 2 teaspoons coriander seeds 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 3 slices Ginger 3 star anise pods 1 cup red clover flowers 1/2 tablespoon espresso powder Zest and juice of one orange Zest and juice of one lime Catcher's Cola cont. (instructions) 1. Pour the water and pomegranate juice into a saucepan along with the coriander seeds, vanilla extract, ginger, star anise, red clover flowers, espresso powder, and the zest and juice of one orange and one lime. 2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high. Cover, reduce the heat to medium, and let simmer for 10 minutes. 3. Strain the mixture through a funnel with a coffee filter, measuring out 2 cups of liquid. Pour the liquid back into the saucepan. 4. Add the sugar, and cook until it completely dissolves.

Apparently I have the cilantro soap gene?????? Probably???? I never even really paid attention to the taste of cilantro until just now when I made this mole chicken and now that I actually hone in I'm like "yeah that tastes soapy"

Thing is it doesn't even taste bad. Just weird. Neat.
