This is a decision that can only happen when the people who founded the company lost sight of the reason they established this tier / how they themselves started. The whole reason that simulcasting+free ad-supported tiers were innovated in the first place was to deter people from pirating the shows!

This is a decision that can only happen when the people who founded the company lost sight of the reason they established this tier / how they themselves started. Okay, so, apparently people are thinking this image of Ryoei Mikage, formerly of defunct dev imageepoch, is Idea Factory president Yoshiteru Satou. Why? Because of articles posted describing how Satou was looking for Mikage after imageepoch went bust. PLEASE check your image sources

The biggest tragedy to happen to movies in the past decade was the hollowing out of the indies. For all the “democratization” that cheap digital cameras and laptop post production teased, it largely didn’t happen. The young chased lower effort YouTube content. Movies stayed needlessly expensive.
