- Developing an Integrated Therapeutic Support (ITS) service for children/young people, jointly led by medical social work, psychology and occupational therapy.

- Connecting with Metabolic Families: new ways of supporting parents of children with metabolic disorders to manage diet and nutrition, including live chats and social media supports

The team projects included:
- Conversations that matter: an innovative programme of training and resources to support clinical staff to feel confident in having conversations with patients about their mental as well as physical health.

The goal of this programme was to equip teams with creative problem-solving tools and encourage human-centred design. They also gained insights into team-working, business planning, & change implementation.

Each team tackled a unique challenge from their area/service, guided through every step from problem analysis to implementation in our 'Applied Skills' programme, the second level of our 'Design Thinking for Healthcare Innovation' initiative.
