Reform will apparently pledge today that they'd abolish indefinite leave to remain - including retrospectively, to people already granted it. Obviously this is a moral abomination but it is also a practical and legal impossibility.

I hope Nadiya is ok. A few weeks ago, in July, I had a really nasty fall when dancing and had to go to A&E. Apart from the physical injury (which I’m over), it’s a real hit to confidence. So my best wishes to her.

I love getting lost in Brixton’s streets, where vibrant colour and community collide. It’s gritty, creative and full of soul. The kind of place that has that unmistakable Joburg energy. There’s so much hope and good here. 🤩🫶

It IS very End Times to watch a Labour government gear up to make the argument that the best thing ordinary folk can do with their money for the future is invest it in speculative capitalist ownership of businesses that may collapse and see them lose everything.

the thing is, ‘concern’ about immigration is directly proportional to how much media coverage is focused on immigration, so even assuming Labour reduce the absolute numbers by 2030, the only way that it will make voters happy is if the press decide it should

Plus sacrifice the NHS, food and environmental standards, worker rights. Who governs?

No thank you. Don't want to be the 51st state, or US slaves.

Better to join the EU and Single Market.
