Such an honor to celebrate free public WiFi in Chinatown! @caasanfrancisco.bsky.social’s 2024 Digital Deserts report exposed the disparities in internet access for low incoming neighborhoods. Our advocacy led to fiber & WiFi in Chinatown so that all residents+merchants can access what they need!

24 yrs ago, undocumented & unafraid youth fought for & won AB 540, opening affordable pathways to higher education in California. With the CA Dream Act, it has secured access for thousands of Californians—both documented & undocumented—who contribute to our communities & call our state their home.

LegInfo reporting that Asm Chen, Ta, and Tangipa did NOT change their abstention on AJR 5, so they were still too cowardly to stand up for their immigrant community members. So disappointing.

One last AYE vote snuck in, so the preliminary vote on #AJR5 was 58-1 in favor!
