I’m feeling grateful that Ichiro is getting the recognition (nationally) he deserves. My dad is a “old school” baseball guy who was quick to defend Rose in relation to Ichi’s successes. He now realizes that with his holding onto the past he missed out on enjoying a truly extraordinary player.

We really were! Fortunate to end up in that spot. Such a cool experience.
