If you’re going to #theakstonscrime this weekend and would like a ticket to the awards party tonight, I have a spare as stupidly, I bought it not realising it was already included in the rover pass. Just let me know and I’ll pass it on to you.

If we want to make mainstream schools more inclusive, start with revising the curriculum. We’re still teaching a Govian curriculum, which is based on the 1950’s, in a post lockdown and technological world.

My energy bill was £127 in 2019, it's now £221/month
My mortgage in 2019 was £589, it's now £1,100/month
Train fares got hiked, taxes went up 12 times.

All that happened under the TORIES.

Labour fucking *walk in the door*, suddenly the Mail give a shit. Piss off.

Currently on a train to London. In a quiet carriage. Bloke is having a conversation with his partner on loudspeaker.
Why do people do this?

One of my favourite books in one if my favourite series is on sale for 99p!
Good morning. Because I am SUPER on the ball I forgot this was 99p. It's one of my favourite books and can be read as a standalone. If undercover posing as a couple + banter +sexual tension is your fictional thing, enjoy.

The reason I self-publish romance.
Radical publishing notion, right here: if your publishers are making a living from publishing and selling your books, then you, the author, should be making a living from writing them.

My genre fiction is currently having to share the same space while my writing room/snug/library is renovated. It’s messy.

Me: because I have a month to finish my novel.

Wordsworth’s Dove Cottage on a wet and wild tenth wedding anniversary.
The wet and wild was in the weather sense, just so you know.

A few potential words of the day:

Joblijock: a disturber of domestic peace (small children, cantankerous uncles, etc).

Yule-hole: the furthest notch in your belt that you need to resort to at Christmas.

Confelicity: joy in other people’s happiness.

Merry Christmas.

Word of the day (of course) is ‘scurryfunging’, from US dialect: the frantic attempt to tidy the house just before guests arrive.

Off to London (train miraculously on time) for the day, seeing The Tempest, and window shopping. For the love of goats, can someone remind me to get my husband a bloody wedding anniversary card?
