Presumably this is to have customers pay towards the worker’s medical insurance. You know, a fixed cost that should already be baked into the prices on the menu.

It wouldn’t surprise me if, while Pence decries many of Trump’s current policies & actions, he’s secretly cheering those policies to defund Planned Parenthood, harm LGTBQ+ people and promote Christian fundamentalism at the expense of personal freedoms.
