the death of stalin - a pretty funny watch as a student of this era of Russian history. Follows the concept in a pretty good way, not very accurate and the actors barely look like who theyre meant to be, but i think thats okay! pretty funny movie that handles it pretty well

fallout - I really like the fallout series, and the first game is genuinley really good, i just wish it was actually my first fallout because some of the cool stuff just doesnt work when you know info from later games unfortunately. great game, if a bit limitting, but hey first time trying the conce

steamworld dig - a trip down memory lane for me, still holds up incredibly and is generally a really fun short n simple game that achieves its concept perfectly, while still having room for expansion

Lies Of P - I mostly played this next because my partner likes it, and I get it. I think its very fun and really camp, but I kind of think it couldve been so much better if it dropped some of its RPG mechanics only there cus dark souls did it and couldve been better, but overall, still incredible!

dark souls 2 - i specifically chose to play the og and not sotfs because i wanted to be annoying, and i think this is probably the platonic ideal of a souls game. Its peak af I love ds2

dark souls - the first souls game I've played and pretty good! I can see why people really like it and I think its pretty fun. I think its very flawed and has a lot of "overhyped" aspects to it, but overall very solid - the master key makes the game 10x better and you should always take it imo

Kenshi - this game just fucks so hard I can't explain it. there's a joy to grinding and getting your characters beaten up over and over, a true ideal of an "immersive sim" in my eyes, though i dont think many people would call it one, I do

Haste - a very fun roguelike. its a bit barebones but it has a really solid arcade-y core gameplay loop, works pretty well and fun to play for a bit here and there, and the art style and character designs are really fun to look at

nosferatu 2024 - i dont think this movie is all that good, i watched it with a friend. I appreciate it a bit more over time but not that great imo, watch it for yourself

Pikmin 1 - a very fun yet simple game. I wish the time limit was harsher or more meaningful because I didn't really feel pressured at any time. I like the pikmin, purple arent in this one but theyre my favourite :) havent finished pikmin 2 yet because i barely use my switch sooooorryyyyyy

Baby Driver - most of the people who starred in this movie suck as people unfortunastely, but I like the movie. Its kind of like if you stripped down a really really Hollywood action movie to its barest components and it just weirdly works, its so barebones but i dig it

Slayers X [...] - totally Zanetastic! Its quite short but I feel like its just the good bits. Really good all throughout and the general theming is also really fun

GTA V - I quite like GTA V for its singleplayer, and especially the character writing of Franklin and Trevor. However, I think the singleplayer feels fundamentally wrong to play, you can kinda clearly tell it was built for the online mode. I still enjoyed it but not something id be willing to replay

the citadel - a pretty good slow-paced shooter with some more intricate reloading, something that is perfected in the sequel that I've yet to finish soooorrryyyyy. A lot of people can be turned off by the main character's design but I kind of like the depressing decadance of the sexuality of it

sorry we're closed - very good survival horror that feels killer7-esque about gay people or something. Its really good I like it you should play it, great stylistically, starts off a bit slow imo but very good n I really really like the boss themes
