This video was taken by me in 2013 of the Granite Mountain Hotshots procession as it traveled through Prescott, Arizona. Note the absolute silence of the crowd. They lined the streets to pay tribute to the fallen hotshots. Nineteen crew members died in the Yarnell Hill Fire on June 30, 2013.

The Arizona Corporation Commissioners warned the Salome Water Co. to come back within six months with a formal plan for long-term water solutions. Otherwise, the commission may take the rare step of appointing an interim manager.

Long-time Salome Water Co. customer Mick Darcey says he struggles with low-water pressure at his property. He uses a gauge to monitor pressure. That gauge registered 18 pounds-per-square-inch on a recent day. (Most city water pressure is between 40 to 80.)

Salome Water Co. has discontinued bulk-water sales and stopped irrigating the high school and elementary school fields because its two wells aren’t. producing enough to meet demand.
