I think if you go into your settings on your computer, you can manually get it to recognise the mic. If it doesn’t, then the mic itself might be broken.

Oh yeah, one other point for newbies. "Block" here doesn't work like it does in other places. Block is what's known as the "nuclear block." It wipes out all interactions, so it kills nonsense *fast*. Do not be afraid to block. Use it early. Use it often. It will greatly improve your experience.
