For the 3rd time, what I'm defending is VERY SPECIFICALLY the need for separate spaces (changing rooms, prisons and rape shelters) for women.
Every single one of us is capable of being nasty, and sometimes is so. Every single one of us is capable of being nice, and sometimes is so. Not relevant.

I'm a feminist too, and welcome my freedom not to be stereotypically girly. But, working in prisons and having an interest in issues around violence against women and girls, the statistical evidence for separate spaces for women is absolutely overwhelming. That's why they were created.

I don't know Sandy Peggie and have no knowledge of her politics or prejudices if she has any. It's SO irrelevant. She, and all women, have a right to separate facilities (changing rooms, toilets, rape shelters and prisons) away from men however they identify.

No. This is about men, not about transgenderness. Separate prisons, changing rooms, loos and rape shelters for women were created for women's safety from men. And that's true whether the men identify as male or female.
