a delay table from zugfinder for the euronight 345 nighttrain from Stockholm to, originally, Berlin (we got finally kicked off at Hamburg with 7.5 hours delay, after most of the other passengers had bailed at Malmö, at 6 hours delay)

nightjets scheduled on the Munich-Amsterdam line. 5th of april is the old configuration, 24th of may has the new one (with a disclaimer that the equipment could be different). Why there are no trains scheduled between 5th of april and 24th of may is a mystery to me, normally it's a daily connection

the bobbin of my spinning wheel, a dark-stained Louet S27, from above. the flyer hooks are visible on the left, and in the center of the image is my partly loaded bobbin, with chainplied heath sheep yarn in a gradient from dark coffee coloured on the bottom of the image to cream coloured at the top.

also, check out the amount of debris in those fleeces. This is what dropped out at the second carding
a table corner, with the footprint of my drumcarder visible as a clean rectangle. within it lies a pile of sandy fluff that got combed out of the wool.

....and now i have to decide what to do with this coffee-coloured bliss 🤔
five rolled-up batts of coffee-to-cream coloured gradient heath sheep fleece, lying behind each other, the dark end pointing left. In the back you see my coffee cup, a net of satsumas, and a bungee strap, because why put stuff away before you get the other stuff out. In the foreground is a small bit of sand, the last remaining sand after carding half the heath out of the fleeces.

then i split each bat into strips, and carded them again, to get rid of any remaining odds and ends (UNENDING AMOUNTS OF ODDS AND ENDS IN HEATH SHEEP FLEECE), and to blend my heath sheep gradient into MORE of a heath sheep gradient. I am in love.
my drum carder in the foreground, loaded with a woolly gradient from creamy white in the front to dark, dark coffee in the back, the metal tines still poking through. In the background are strips of pre-carded wool in various shades of brownish grey, greyish brown, and creamy.

i carded two batts out of each colour fleece on my trusty Louet drum carder. This amounts to only a tiny amount of all fleece i have. There's seriously still about half a cubic meter of heath sheep fleece left. But LOOK how pretty the colours are
deliciously fluffy rolls of carded heath sheep fleece laid out on a greygreen wooden deck with grooved planks. There's 8 batts total, ranging from very light grey on the right, through lead grey, almost black, and a warm chocolatey brown.

they were linedried, and then stored until yesterday morning
a laundry line full of droopy fleeces in a rather wild summer garden. The grass is long, there are bushes behind the line, and there are red flowers visible on the right. On the line are 7 fleeces, ranging from a warm dark brown closest, via blonde-reddish, to very light grey/white in the back.
