Fluorescence Friday time! Here's my favorite tissue: the retina (this one from zebrafish). From top to bottom, rod outer segments in dark green, red/green cone outer segments in red, cone nuclei in pink, rod nuclei in light blue, cone terminals in orange, and inner nuclear layer cells in royal blue.

An oldie but goodie for #Fluorescence Friday. Adult zebrafish retina: inner nuclear layer cell bodies are royal blue, rod nuclei are light blue, red/green cone nuclei are pink, rod outer segments are dark green, and cone terminals and outer segments are red.
