What is with this headline @politico.com ? "Sides with accuser?" Technically true, but the entire headline gives the impression it may not have been warranted.

The @nytimes.com is a bit better but still just calling her a "woman" as if she was just someone he ran across once is...not great.

Loved to see Pillars residents protesting Trump and immigration policies this morning at daycare dropoff.

My oldest asked why, I was like "our government is doing bad things." The fastest explanation for dropoff time.

Our neighborhood park has an edible garden maintained by the garden club. They encourage people to pick the fruit. It's lovely and so fun to hunt for the wild strawberries (we only found 3, there were far more cherries and red currants.)

Heard a "gobble gobble" from my home office. Found some turkeys.

A Chief AI Officer? Really?

I know companies are trying to put AI absolutely everywhere and I can see some good use cases in healthcare, but would not have thought of it being elevated to a C suite role.

Lovely, long bike ride to Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden this morning. First I've gotten to bike near the lakes. Felt like almost everyone was out, and even the beaches were relatively busy.

The state department has an ad telling people not to travel to Level 4 advisory countries.

...they realize many countries have travel advisories for the USA now, right???

My husband went through again this morning and it sounds like the bars were no longer there, scaffolding still in place. But, he sent me this video from about a block from there.

The consequences of the Bridge #9 detour. It's full of construction. Today some crew decided to apparently place a metal bar directly in the bike lane, which my husband hit. There was no sign, no warning, and it was downhill.

The rain cover is completely wrecked. (Last pic is it normally).

It's really hard to watch so many Democrats (thankfully, for once, not my Senators) cave.

But it's absolutely glorious outside today, so at least there's that for now. Walked around NE, got new running shoes for my post pregnancy larger feet, bought some sausage from Kramarczuk's. Lovely.

I use it to replace most local car trips in MN, and also have done some longer rides to events (6-10 miles). Don't have a pic in full winter gear, but here's summer. It's been amazing.

Reading Strong Towns and it's not as easy to get into as I expected but then it got going and it's just yup yup this explains so much of the USA and our Wall Street growth at all costs and suburbs mindset.

This particular section reminded me of MnDOT and Rethinking I94.

Ahhh. No.

Stop putting AI absolutely everywhere!

Spent an hour on the rink this weekend and it felt perfect.

So many in the neighborhood were out. Like the park on steroids. In the summer, families scatter. 25° in January? If you know how to skate, you're out here.

Ice skating is apparently my next thing to relearn as my kid learns.

Rode in my husband's Urban Arrow to the bike shop, got my bike - now with studded tires - and did my first below freezing ride. Might get a warmer balaclava and ski gloves (on my list anyway), but otherwise nice ride! Definitely slower with the studs.
