This artwork of mine, is made with lights in the shape of a heart behind an X-ray of lungs, in a shadow box frame. “I am here to take care of little girl Anna”. She never experienced true maternal connection. The ‘mother wound’ for the adoptee begins in the heart. #adopteevoice #adopteestory

My second piece included in the ‘Invisible Wounds’ exhibit. Type set of single word that rose from a one-word poem writing workshop held by David. The word ‘bastard’ as an adoptee always resonated with me, but ‘reject’ cuts deeper after becoming a member of the double rejection club. #adoptee

My graphic artwork was included in a current Pittsburgh art exhibit, ‘Invisible Wounds’ by Dafna and David. They are poignantly creative human beings and their show moved me deeply. My piece focused on the ‘mother wound’ that all adoptees struggle with from the womb. #adopteevoice #adopteestory 💔❤️‍🩹❤️
