Exactly! I was annoyed to see Grammarly calling some chatbots it offers "agents." Everyone wants to make a splash with an "our AI agents have arrived" announcement.

I say "almost everybody" because some who are desperate for their company to stay afloat or just greedy will see it as worth it to proceed without guardrails. But some of those folks are wishing for regulation too, arguing "we can't hold back if the competition doesn't."
