Went for a walk on the farm. Farmer G invited me to climb over a fence. Put my foot and all my weight on a piece of wood.....that had a nail sticking up out of it...... nek minute.

Crikey! Power bill daily rate about to go up over 50%. Meter rates not really changing. To make me feel better they're offering a total of 11% discounts for various loyalty etc things. Ouch.

Enjoying a frisky rose after a big day facilitating day 1 of a deliberative democracy forum. The best part? Realizing how brilliant ordinary citizens are when you include properly them in big decisions. Second best part? Farmer G picking up Indian takeaways. Third? Im in my pj's already.

Tomorrow is grand daughter's 3rd birthday. It's to be a Frozen themed party. My I present today's craft project, Sven antlers constructed using a headband, pipe cleaners, velvet yarn and cardboard ears. A hot glue gun was involved.

Got a follow-up letter from James Meager on the Treaty Principles Bill Submissions concern. It contains a number of allegations about Labour trying to stop people being heard. I feel like I'm being gaslit....am I?

I emailed the Chair of the Committee about my and my partner's submission being missing from the record and how it undermined public engagement. This was his response.
He did not respond to my follow-up question about what he meant by misinformation.
