The news remains terrible, but I got a new cane and I LOVE it!

Hand carved by Ukrainian artists. It's so pretty and classic, I may even walk with it on days when I don't need a mobility device.

I read Matthew Karp's article in Harper's this morning, and wow, this is shockingly stupid. His thesis is, essentially, that people keep saying things are different under Trump, but his life hasn't changed and he's getting bored of it all.

Here's a thing I'm doing to, you know, be okay. I grabbed some thank you cards, and anytime I read an article where someone is standing up or fighting back, I write their name in the card.
