Atheism merely means I don't believe in the existence of god. Any god. Not just your own god, if any, but all other gods as well. I don't "hate" them. I just don't believe that they exist. That's all.

As an Asian woman I'm an outside observer (neither implicated nor victimised) of slavery, so I try to tell myself that I'm a neutral, but by the god I don't believe in, the more I read the more levels of evil I uncover. I can barely believe some of the things I discovered really happened.
Slave ship owners routinely cheated the crew of their own slave ships (those that survived, there was a ~20% mortality rate among the *crew*, so you can imagine the fate of the "cargo") out of their salaries, so there were literally multiple strata of victims in the whole evil enterprise.

Dreamt I was buried alive,naked in a concrete box just larger than my body,leaving no room to move.I was screaming for help but there was nobody to hear.I knew(in the way one knows things in dreams)that I wouldn't/couldn't starve or suffocate to death,but was buried there to live in that box forever
