I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?

Trans people are my neighbors and my friends and my loved ones. But I do not need personal attachment to know that human beings should enjoy the full benefits of their human rights as well as full participation in our community and country.
My guess is that a lot of trans people will be feeling a ton of stress and worry over SCOTUS today.

I donate in memory of my Dad (z"l) who needed blood when chemo made him anemic. I donate in honour of friends who hemorrhaged in childbirth or were in terrible accidents; blood saved their lives. I donate so it is there for anyone who needs it. Life is precious. #itsinyoutogive
