Dass die Grünen eigene Akzente im Finanzpaket setzen wollen, ist verständlich. Es letztlich nicht zu unterstützen, würde ihre Glaubwürdigkeit im Hinblick auf Ukraine aber auch Infrastruktur langfristig beschädigen. Es wäre eine Dummheit. (Auch wenn viele Dummheiten im Sondierungspapier stehen).

I celebrate the 80% of Germans who did not vote for the far right. Do not make 19.6% of German voters into "the" German people (again).

"The" German people don't exist! The German population is diverse and divided, but voted overwhelmingly for liberal democratic parties.

German public TV just published this poll of first-time voters. A massive lead for socialist Left party on 27%.

Left + SPD + Greens on 54% among first-time-voters. Those voters were also slightly less likely to vote AfD than national average.

So much for the “far-right youth”.
