I think capitalism destroys creativity. It feels good to earn when you work, but housing, food and medication being absurdly expensive is extremely detrimental to art

I've noticed it a lot in other artists, where they output a lot to make money, because they have to eat and pay rent, and their art quality drops tremendously. If they're happy that's fine, but sometimes I can see that they are not enjoying the craft anymore

Sometimes I just don't feel brave enough to switch it up. I'm already not outputting enough; I can't always afford to post something that won't do well. I'm extremely fortunate to have followers who like my work regardless of whether it's nsfw or not

As per my post; perception is difficult to manoeuver around. Though I am joking, there is the looming idea that people have an expectation of you if you present yourself one way often. I'm joking that I don't draw often so if I post something spicey people would be surprised

(side thought) It's the abuse of any linguistic system that we need to be wary of. Labels are fine until someone uses it to hurt another person. I do agree that artists are artists no matter what, but in these weird times the artist label is being abused by thieves and frauds

It's so cool that they move, but we've also learnt how they interact with their environment and with each other. We've nearly nailed down exactly how these animals would have behaved. I'm quite excited to see media in 20 years (provided we keep making art ourselves)
