Yes, outreach activities are time-consuming, but the impact you make is huge. I would suggest that all early career researchers actively participate in outreach.

Even though I have taken on various roles in the past few years, such as postdoc and editor, I remain actively involved in these outreach efforts, which reflects my passion for them.

Looking back, I realize how much these outreach activities have helped me gain confidence in sharing my research with everyone, including non-scientists.

I can't remember all of these details to list :D Every time I think this might be my last project with the university, another exciting outreach opportunity arises. This time, it's about Girls in SciTech by Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine - University of Luxembourg (lnkd.in/gdzJVRDK).

Since then, I've participated in a series of image competitions, had my work featured in the FNR campaign "letzscience", and even filmed for the "Look Closer" movie (lnkd.in/gRR84djN).

I greatly appreciate the University of Luxembourg for their many exciting outreach programs.
It all started in the second or third year of my PhD when Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) selected me for the "Spotlight on Young Researchers" program (lnkd.in/gg_mxAPT).
