Grad school definitely did not prepare me for being a therapist through a second Drump presidency. My nervous system was already dysregulated from the first 4 yrs....this is like Red Alert on steroids!

I see all these posts on SM about finding/forming community-but what if you have never really felt a part of a community? When you have always been the outsider, the weirdo, “too much, etc” it’s hard to feel you belong anywhere. 🤷🏻♀️🙁

While I am sure this is a less stressful experience, I am absolutely dreading having to try to figure out a way to engage in yet another space that I inherently don't feel comfortable in. (I don't feel comfortable in many spaces, real or digital TBH).
