This is tragic. It also seems not coincidental that just two days ago the Homeland Security secretary publicly called for the “liberation” of CA from its elected city and state officials. The violent rhetoric of MAGA officials must cease.

The revolutionary war was worse but worth it. The activism in the sixties and early seventies brought about the end of the Vietnam War, passed the civil rights act, lowered the voting age to 18 because 18 yr olds were drafted and then ENDED the draft. Roe v Wade gave women control over our bodies💙

I saw some violence live on the TV. It was the "guards" outside the federal building in Los Angeles. And it was entirely unnecessary.
