With all the new focus on "government efficiency," how many North Carolina voters know that just last year, Republican leaders of our state legislature gave away $500 million in NC taxpayer funds to a secretive venture capital fund whose finances are kept secret?

people who say “why do we need [fine arts, humanities degrees, mid-budget films] when they don’t make a ton of money?” are insufferable. why do we need chrysanthemums? why do we need bonfires or baleen whales or the color blue? we just do. we just do.

Prior to this reboot, they removed a video in which I described why RFK Jr’s comments were racist. They labeled my video hate speech. They also removed a video of someone knocking over a statue of Khomeini in Iran.

It may now be heightened, but they have always had terrible content moderation.
I just had a video of Captain Von Trapp tearing up the Nazi flag (The Sound of Music) removed from TikTok for violating “community guidelines.”
